Mr. Ragan was born on February 11, 1951, in Pike County, to the late William Douglas Ragan and the late Jewel Bettis Ragan. He worked in industrial sales at Merritt Sales. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Potter Ragan of Thomaston, daughter, Laurie Allison of Buford, son J.R. Ragan of Milledgeville, brothers, Ronald (Kippi) Ragan, Eric Ragan, sisters, Carolyn Ragan Richardson, Joan Ragan Levenstein, and Anisha Ragan (Dwayne) Barber.
Memorial services will be held on Friday April 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday April 28, 2023, from 12:30 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
