Judy Faye Connell Riggins

Mrs. Judy Faye Connell Riggins, age 75, of Molena, passed away February 4, 2023.  Judy was born in Zebulon, daughter of the late Hoyt Bennett Connell and Elizabeth Scoggins Connell. She was a life-long resident of Pike County and enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Damon Stewart “Danny” Riggins, Sr., and her brothers Thomas Connell and Ted Connell.

 

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Damon and Jennifer Riggins and Darrell and Heather Riggins; grandchildren and their spouses: Coleman Riggins, Snow and Rand Nerium, Nolan and Zoe Riggins, Madison Riggins, Connor Vivian Riggins, and Reese Jordan; sisters and a brother-in-law: Sarah Manley and Shirley and Buddy Hatchett; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Neal Baptist Church Cemetery in Concord.

 

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, from 1-3 p.m., at the funeral home.
