Eugene “Gene” Wilson

Rev. Eugene “Gene” Wilson and Peggy Quarles Wilson, loving husband and wife of 63 years, are reunited once again in their Heavenly home.

Rev. Gene passed away on November 8, 2022. Peggy joined her beloved husband in the arms of Jesus on January 22, 2023, just 11 weeks later.

 

Rev. Gene, a longtime pastor, and Peggy, a devoted preacher’s wife, were the proud parents of two daughters, Tammy & Angie. The couple spent their lives spreading the gospel and now they are living in glory with the Lord. Rev. Gene and Peggy will be remembered by their love for Jesus, their family, and one another.

 

A joint service for Rev. Gene and Peggy Wilson will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at 4 PM, in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family beginning at 3 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in their honor to McIntosh Baptist Church, 2222 West McIntosh Road, Griffin, GA 30223.
