Mr. Blount was born on March 14, 1962, in Thomaston, to the late John Will Blount Jr. and the late Brenda Phillips Blount. He worked for a metal prefabrication company and attended Mountain View Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Stan Blount.
Survivors include his wife, Toiee Carter Blount of Thomaston, daughters, Kaylyn Blount, Jennifer Lee, Kelly Blount, God daughter, Brooke Marshall, son, Markus Levi Blount, brothers, Bill and Marc Blount, and grandchild, Blade Blount.
The family will have a private graveside service.
