Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held Monday, December 26, at 4:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Rev. Dean Hemphill will officiate, and a private interment will be held at Pine Mountain Church of The Nazarene Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mrs. Brown was born in Meansville, Georgia on October 4, 1941, a daughter of the late Herman Waller and the late Hulda Eppinger Waller. She was a graduate of Meansville Highschool and was a beautician at Lottie's Beauty Bar. She was a talented painter and enjoyed making beautiful ceramics and stained-glass pieces. She also played the piano and organ, enjoyed crafting, and loved animals. Mrs. Brown was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter, Judy Brown Turner; her grandchildren, Amy (Heath) Maddox and Dusty (Ashley) Turner, all of Thomaston; her sisters, Donnie Wall and Yvonne (Henry) Armstrong; her great grandchildren, Landon (Savannah) Maddox, Turner Maddox, Jake Helms, Sam Turner, and Lilly Turner.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Brown, her son, Rodney Monroe Brown, her son-in-law, Tandy Turner, her sisters, Lawanda Waller and Peggy Goldman, and her brothers, Andrew Waller and Ronnie Waller.
