William Ellsworth Bradley Jr

Mr. William Ellsworth Bradley Jr, age 64, of Yatesville, died Saturday, October 8, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Bradley was born on February 7, 1958, in St. Charles, Illinois, to the late William Ellsworth Bradley Sr., and the late Elaine Traeger Beal. He graduated from Elgin High School in June of 1976. He was employed as a farmhand at the Haygood Dairy for 18 years, where he enjoyed working and being outside around the farm. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Scott Bradley.

Being the eldest of seven children, he felt like he had to help take care of his younger siblings, so he started working at a young age as a newspaper carrier for the Chicago Tribune. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America as an adolescent and the Elgin Brigade Voyageurs group, throughout his teenage years. His love for the outdoors, camping, canoeing, and fishing was instilled early on in his life. He experienced many memorable camping trips and made some profound memories with his group. He had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and growing a wide variety of plants. He was always proud of his harvest each summer and loved his collection of plants. He enjoyed watching football and baseball, keeping up with his home state team, Chicago Cubs, and the Atlanta Braves. He had a love for classic rock music that he passed onto his children. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

Survivors include his son, William (Kimberly Parham) Bradley III of Macon, daughter, Amber (Kevin) Moore of Thomaston, stepchildren, Kristi (Jack) Pollard of Barnesville, Shane Corley of Juliette, Randi (Jacob) Fielder of Manchester, and Brianna Knight of Manchester, brothers, Robert Bradey, John (Roxanne) Bradley, sisters, Rebecca (Ronald) Ehredt, Amy Villareal, Elizabeth (Rodney) Oates, stepfather, Glen Beal, stepmother, Carol Bradley, grandchildren Tristan Reid, Kaydie Jo Reid, and Draven Bradley, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
