Mr. John Daniel “Dan” Faircloth, age 54, of Zebulon, passed away October 2, 2022.
Dan was born on January 5, 1968, to Betty Faircloth and the late John C. Faircloth. He was a longtime construction worker who specialized in roofing and carpentry. He was most recently employed with Kia in general assembly. He was handy and enjoyed building things. Dan was a hard worker and provider for his family. He could often be found watching his kids and grandkids play baseball at the ball fields. He was a dedicated family man who was always there when they needed him. Dan was his brother’s best friend and a hero to many who looked up to him. Dan will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son and PePaw.
Along with his father, Dan was preceded in death by his brother, Dexter Faircloth, sister, Charlene Faircloth, and brother-in-law, Ricky Maddox.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Janet Faircloth of Zebulon; children: Daniel Faircloth and girlfriend Shelby of Zebulon, Destiny Mullis and husband Nathan of Lagrange, Jonathan Faircloth and wife Whitney of Molena; grandchildren: Nolan, Grayson, Natalie Kate, Mason, Emersyn and Kohen; mother: Betty Faircloth of Griffin; brother and sister-in-law: Carey and Kym Faircloth of Orchard Hill; sister and brother-in-law: Brandy and Ronnie Cochran of McDonough; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Donnie and Mary Bagwell of Yatesville, Robert and Angela Bagwell of The Rock and Peggy Maddox of Zebulon; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, October 9th at Moody-Daniel Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family beginning at 2 PM at the funeral home.
