Mrs. Chambless was born on March 14, 1927, in Macon to the late John Adolph Adams, and the late Irene Cowart Adams. She worked in the printing industry and was a member of Mulberry Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Eugene Chambless Jr, as well as numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughter Dottie Maddox of Forsyth, son, Chris Chambless of Thomaston, as well as four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon. The family will receive friends at the graveside service.
