Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Worley will be held Tuesday, November 14, at 2:00 PM, at New Hope Cemetery with her grandson, Charles Pence officiating. Mrs. Worley will lie-in-state at her residence beginning on Monday morning until the hour of service on Tuesday. The family will receive friends at the residence.
Mrs. Worley was born on July 29, 1941, in Upson County, the daughter of the late Henry Royce Hawkins and the late Frances Boyt Hawkins. She was a 1959 graduate of Yatesville Highschool and she was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, and sittin' on her front porch. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Worley was a member of Yatesville Baptist Church.
Mrs. Worley is survived by her loving daughters, Judy Martin and Jennifer (Billy) Lee, both of Yatesville; her brothers, Henry (Lucy) Hawkins and Troy (Connie) Hawkins, both of Thomaston; her grandchildren, Charles (Kim) Pence, Joseph Pence, and Katie (Andy) Davison, and her seven great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Joseph Worley.
