Jerry Allen “Shine” Patton, Jr.

Mr. Jerry Allen “Shine” Patton, Jr., age 63, of Griffin, passed away November 19, 2023, at his home. He grew up in Pike County, son of the late Jerry Patton, Sr., and Wanda Fran Kimbell Patton.  Shine was employed at Sefcor in Griffin for 34 years, where he worked many different positions, including assistant plant superintendent.  He enjoyed working out at local gyms, cutting grass and spending time in his pool.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Chris Patton.

He is survived by his son:  Jason Patton of Griffin; sister: Roxie Patton of Griffin; nephew: Brian Gibson; niece: Wanda Patton and many cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
