Miss Morgan Lee Jones, age 25, of Zebulon, took the very first steps of her young life on the morning of September 28th, from Emory Hospital in Atlanta into the arms of Jesus.
Morgan lived a simple, beautiful, and happy life. She smiled all of the time, only knew love and kindness, and she appreciated a good song and a great meal.
Her presence and gift to light up a whole room will be missed here immensely by her parents, Jennifer and Bleu Flournoy, and Shane Jones, great-grandmother, Clara Turner, grandmother, Charlotte Bennett, grandparents, Hal and Kay Sawyer, her "Bubba" and best friend, Devin Jones and his wife Katherine, brother, Rylan Flournoy, sister, Shyla Flournoy and Anthony, uncles and aunts, Terry and Julie Jones, Slade and Becky Jones, Kayla and John Hurt, Daniele Sawyer and Nick, niece, Clara Shaw Jones, and nephews, Chap Jones and Kohan Creech, along with numerous cousins, friends and loved ones.
We know Granddaddy Steve and Aunt Bet welcomed her at those pearly gates with arms wide open, ran hand-in-hand through a field of wildflowers, singing their song, Sugar Pie Honey Bunch.
A funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Moody-Daniel Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family beginning at 1 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the beautiful people at PEAK, who loved and empowered Morgan and others with abilities, just like hers. PEAK: 815 Wood Creek Road, Williamson, GA 30292.
