Mrs. Wheless was born on September 27, 1949, in Thomaston, to the late Royal Edward Crews, and the late Inez O'Neal Crews. She worked for Wal-Mart as a department manager and was a member of Silvertown Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Ed, Joe, Ray Crews, sister, Pat Taylor, and nephew Mike Crews.
Survivors include her nieces, Christy (Olivia Roller) Crews of Nashville, Machelle (Chad) Nelms of Yatesville, Raelynn Crews of Thomaston, nephews, William "Chris" (Ginger) Crews of Thomaston, Steve (Cheryl) Crews, of Newnan, Mark (Karen) Crews of Charlotte, David Moss of Yatesville, Al (Cindy) Crews of Thomaston, Tony (Lori) Crews Thomaston, Bobby Moss of Barnesville, and many more nieces and nephews.
It was Mrs. Wheless's wishes were to be cremated with no services at this time. For those who would like to sign her guest registry, it will be available at Coggins Funeral Home.
