Mr. Albert Melvin Rose, Jr., age 78, of Yatesville, formerly of Jonesboro, passed away September 12, 2022.
Al was born in Kentucky, son of the late Albert Melvin Rose, Sr. and Betty June Seymour Rose. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Al traveled the world while he was in the military. He worked for Owens-Illinois in East Point for many years before retiring. He loved to fish and spend time with his family.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Michelle Rose of Yatesville;
Grandchildren and their spouses: Ashley and Kyle Donahue of Yatesville, Michael Rose, Jr. of McDonough and April and Anthony Haney of Adel; great-grandchildren: Mason and Makenzie Donahue and Jade Haney.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
