Mrs. Rogers was born on December 7, 1948, in Richmond, Kentucky, to the late Corbin Brandenburg and the late Adora Bruner Brandenburg.
She enjoyed taking cruises and vacationing with family at the beach. As a lifelong animal lover, she was active in animal rescue and adoption programs. She fostered many animals throughout her life and it was a source of great joy to her.
Mrs. Rogers worked with her family through many entrepreneurial businesses and obtained her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She supported her children as a loving mother and US Army spouse while her husband served in Vietnam.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald M. Dishion. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl (Darryl) Preast of Thomaston, sons, Steven (Rhonda) Dishion of Thomaston, James (Stacey) Dishion of Burke, Virginia, Christopher (Rebecka) Rogers of Fort Worth, Texas, sister, Kimberly Hill of Henagar, Alabama, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Rogers will be cremated. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed dearly.
