Mr. Jack Alvah Bone, age 80, of The Rock, passed away July 2, 2023. He grew up in Wyandotte, MI, son of the late Alvah Bone and the late Margaret Ford Bone. Jack lived in Michigan for most of his life. He and his wife, Maveline, moved to Georgia 20 years ago. He worked for AT&T for over 30 years, retiring as a repairman. In his younger years, he enjoyed bowling, reading, and camping. He was a long-time member of Mt. Gap Church at The Rock.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joann Lindsey.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Maveline Bone; sons: Jeffery Bone (Tess), Johnathan Bone, Joel Bone, Paul Morgan (Joy), Wayne Morgan and Charles Morgan (Kandi); grandchildren: Katelyn (Mark), Kristina, Samantha, Tahnee, Natalie, Macy, Carlyn and Justin; great-grandchildren: Abigail, Wayne, Kylie and Allie; sister: Karen Mazmanian (Mike).
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 13, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor John Price officiating.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
