Mrs. Pollard was born on July 9, 1939 in Gwinnett County Ga., to the late Ray Peters and the late Verlon Bennett Peters. She worked in the finishing department with Thomaston Mills for 25 years and was a member of Hebron Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her step son Benny Frank Pollard Jr.
Survivors include her husband Benny Frank Pollard Sr., of Thomaston Ga., daughter Melanie McCausland of Manchester Ga., step daughters Shelia (Joe) Melton of Molena Ga., Regina (Tony) McCard of Molena Ga., sons Barry (Karen) Helms of Eatonton Ga., Larry Donald "Bubba" Helms of Eatonton Ga., step son Johnny Pollard of Thomaston Ga., brothers Robbie Peters of AL., Wendall (Linda) Peters of Williamson Ga., Ronald (Clara) Peters of Monroe Ga., sister Diane Armistead of Williamson Ga., 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday April 25, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Saturday April 24, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
