Mrs. Debra Jean Funderburk Whatley age 64 of Thomaston Ga, passed away Thursday April 1, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Whatley was born on March 1, 1957, in Warm Springs, to the late William Funderburk and the late Elizabeth Clay Funderburk. She worked at Upson Regional Medical Center in the food nutrition department and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Funderburk.
Survivors include her husband, Andy Whatley of Thomaston, sons, Jason (Jana) Whatley of Thomaston, Scott (Kim) Whatley of Thomaston, sister, Diane (Mike) Rigden of Warm Springs, grandchildren, Logan Gordy, Makayla Ogletree, Brenton Whatley, and dog, Bella.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. from Mountain View Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
