Mrs. Roberson was born on September 12, 1942 in Thomaston, to the late Henry Gus Howard, and the late Eva Mae Fordham Howard. She worked at Carters for 36 years, Walmart for 20 years, and then Ingles. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Sammy Brackett Jr., and brother, Buford Dudley.
Survivors include her husband, David Thomas Roberson of Thomaston, daughters, Diane (Ronnie) Paul of Thomaston, Sandy (Randy) Glenn of Lawrenceville, step-daughter, Wanda (Don) Reynolds of Knoxville TN, step-son, Thomas (Deborah) Roberson of Cumming, grandchildren, Heath Brackett, Taylor Paul Worland, Kalee Glenn Weiland, Luke Paul, Samantha Glenn, Brandon Brackett, Hannah Brown, 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 step-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. from Upson Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Brightmoor Hospice at 3235 Newnan Rd. Griffin, Ga 30233.
