Mr. William Jeffrey "Jeff" Lovejoy age 54 of Thomaston Ga., died Tuesday April 13, 2021 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Lovejoy was born on September 14, 1966, in Lamar County, to the late Larry Lovejoy and Wanda Pritchett Shockley. He owned and operated his own Pest Control business, and was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church. He served his country in the US Army. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary Lovejoy.
Survivors include his mother, Wanda Shockley of Barnesville, his daughters, Amy (Allen McLaughlin) Lovejoy of Thomaston, Hope Lovejoy of McDonough, stepdaughter, Jenna (Brain) Huckaby of Griffin, stepmother, Sybil Lovejoy of Thomaston, stepson, Christopher Williamson of Manchester, paternal grandfather, William Lovejoy of Barnesville, maternal grandmother, Betty Goddard of Barnesville, brother, Brian (Heather) Lovejoy of Thomaston, sister, Melanie Johnson of Barnesville, grandchildren, Elizabeth, Landon, and Bella.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 3:00 p.m from Lamar Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
