Mr. Boyt was born on March 11, 1960, in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late Ernest Ray Boyt and the late Patricia Peaden Boyt. He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard during Desert Storm. Dennis worked security at Upson Regional Medical Center and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his close friends Ashley and Brian Brown of Thomaston, daughter, Allison Avery of Thomaston, son, Dennis Lee Boyt of Thomaston, brother Ricky Boyt of Thomaston, niece, Taylor, Godchildren, Kelsea Avery and P.J. Wilson.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
