Mr. Wayne Lamar Wheeler age 76 of Thomaston Ga., passed away Friday August 20, 2021 at Perry Hospital in Perry Ga.
Mr. Wheeler was born on January 10, 1945 in Thomaston Ga., to the late Edgar Clayton Wheeler Sr. and the late Thelma Lois Green Wheeler. He worked in the textile industry for 44 years. Mr. Wheeler served his country in the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Sara Frances Weems Wheeler.
Survivors include his son Anthony Wheeler, step daughter Allison (Chris) Raulerson of Eatonton Ga., brothers E.C. Wheeler, Larry (Betty) Wheeler, sister Debbie (Terry) Bridges, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service
