Mr. Roger Dale Spillers

Mr. Roger Dale Spillers, age 54, of The Rock, passed away August 12, 2021, at his home. He was born in Griffin, son of the late Maurice Spillers and Margaret Jeannette Cagle Spillers. Roger enjoyed his job as a truck driver for 15+ years. He attended Pine Mt. Holiness Church in Meansville. He liked to camp and he loved his dogs. He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 31 years: Penny Spillers; daughters: Jennifer Fowler and husband Patrick of Thomaston, Minnetta Spillers and fiancé Gary Ferguson of The Rock and Heather Johnson of Griffin; grandchildren: Levi Jones, Harley Johnson and Leonard John Fowler.

A celebration of Roger’s life will be held on Saturday, August 14, 4:00 p.m., at his home, 265 Potato Creek Rd., The Rock, GA 30285.

Moody-Daniel Funeral Home is in charge of arraignments.
