Mrs. June Ellerbee Green, age 76, of Meansville, passed away June 26, 2023. She was born in Thomaston, daughter of the late Mark Ellerbee and Hazel Self Ellerbee. Mrs. Green was a homemaker and enjoyed playing the piano. She was a member and church pianist at Meansville Baptist Church for many years. Mrs. Green enjoyed baking for her boys. They especially enjoyed her pecan pies, banana bread and sweet potato soufflé. She loved vacationing with friends on Tybee Island, word search books, reading Woman’s Day and Woman’s World magazines, and watching Lifetime and Hallmark movies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Green.
She is survived by her sons and a daughter-in-law: Jason Green and Joel and Tonya Green; grandchildren: Hailey Green, Courtney Green, and Warren Green; sister: Janice Jones and family.
Friends may visit the family on Saturday, July 1, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the funeral home. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m., in Fincher Memorial Cemetery in Meansville. Moody-Daniel Funeral Home
