Mr. Gary Cooper "Bunk" Helms age 80 of Thomaston Ga, died Thursday August 11, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Helms was born on March 8, 1936 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Rufus and Mildred Dickerson Helms. He was formerly employed with Yamaha where he worked as a truck driver for many years. Mr. Helms was preceded in death by his sister Doris Perkins.
Survivors include his sons Mr. Craig (Alisa) Helms of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Brian (Cassie) Helms of Barnesville Ga, Mr. Eric Helms of Thomaston Ga, brothers Mr. Harry Helms of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Donald (Jeanette) Helms of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Doyle (Marlene) Helms of Cochran Ga, sister Mrs. Shirley Chambley of Thomaston Ga, 10 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday August 14, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Saturday August 13, 2016 from 6-8 p.m.
