Mr. Calem Michael Sanders, age 36, passed away October 22, 2021. Calem grew up in the Newnan and Barnesville areas. He was very musical, playing both lead and bass guitar. He was also a gifted songwriter. Calem was a jokester and enjoyed cutting up, telling jokes and making people laugh. Calem was active: riding bikes, hiking and being outdoors. He liked playing golf and drinking hot sauce. He loved hot peppers; the hotter, the better. He had a light that could fill any space. He was kindhearted with a love for Jesus and family.
He is survived by his mother: Sandra Sanders (Rickey Hayes) of Newnan; father: John Sanders (Nancy Kuhns) of Warner Robins; brothers and a sister: Corey E. Rohrbaugh of Dover, PA, Chad Rohrbaugh (Cindy) of Newnan and Naomi Burdette (Stephen) of Grovetown, GA; nieces and nephews: Corbyn Rohrbaugh, Codey Rohrbaugh, Gethan Rohrbaugh, Ashlyn Rohrbaugh, Gavin Sammons, and Symphony Burdette; many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Betosky officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
