Mr. Steve Lamar Shiflet, age 68, of Thomaston, died on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta.
Mr. Shiflet was born on May 3, 1952, in Thomaston, to Edward "Ed" Shiflet and Bettye Ward Shiflet. He is retired from Graphics Packaging and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Ed and Bettye Shiflet of Thomaston, daughter, Summer (Dylan Johnson) Shiflet of Thomaston, son, Rustin Shiflet of Thomaston, brother, Bruce Shiflet of Brunswick, sister, Allison (Rod) Henderson of Oconee County, grandchildren, Max Shiflet, Waylon Johnson, Wyatt Johnson and Madden Shiflet.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from Mountain View Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 15, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m at Coggins Funeral Home
