MRS. RUTH ANN ENGLE GASSETT

Mrs. Ruth Ann Engle Gassett, age 76, of The Rock Ga, died Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Harborview Health and Rehab in Thomaston.

Mrs. Gassett was born January 21, 1943, in Thomaston to the late Dan and Blanche Engle. She worked in the stock room at Walmart and was a member of The Rock Methodist Church.

She is preceded by her husband, George A. "Buddy" Gassett; sister, Doris Shumate; and brother, Billy Engle. Survivors are her sons, Tommy (Helen) Gassett, Todd (Mary) Gassett, and Tandy (Crystal) Gassett all of Thomaston; brothers, Jimmy (Glenda) Engle of Thomaston and Thomas (Jackie) Engle of The Rock.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gassett will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home with burial to follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2019, form 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Coggins Funeral Home.
