Ms. Shirley Burkett Reeves age 74 of Thomaston Ga, died Thursday November 5, 2015 at The Medical Center of Central Ga.
Ms. Reeves was born on May 21, 1941 in Thomaston Ga, to the late Leonard Britt and Eunice Turner Burkett. She was formerly employed with B.F. Goodrich Mill where she worked in the twisting department for many years. Ms. Reeves was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Reeves, daughter Tammy Denise Welch.
Survivors include her daughters Mrs. Debra (Harvey) Shaw of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Pamela Johnson Benson of Jonesboro Ga, Mrs. Mary Johnson (Jeffery) Kendrick of Meansville Ga, sons Mr. Leonard (Brenda) Mobley of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Edward E. (Theresa) Johnson Jr. of Thomaston Ga, brother Mr. Basil (Becky) Burkett of Thomaston Ga. 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday November 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Saturday November 7, 2015 from 4-6 p.m.
